Our Home and Family

Samaritan House is a community ministry of St. Peter's Roman Catholic Church in Wellsboro, Pennsylvania. We believe in the dignity and value of every person and welcome everyone without condition. Samaritan House is available to all without regard to race, religion or socioeconomic status.

Samaritan House is located behind St. Peter's Catholic Church. The home contains a completely furnished living room, bedroom kitchen and bathroom. There are sleeping accommodations for family members on the lower level. The house has been tastefully decorated to be home-like and comfortable. Television is available, as well as a variety of games and books for use by guests and their families. Food and linens are provided. Off street parking is reserved for use by the family and friends of guests.

Our Mission
We believe that, as a Christian community, we are called by Christ to imitate the charity of the Good Samaritan.We welcome the dying in a
spiritually-supportive and caring environment. We provide physical, emotional and social care to our guests during their end-of -life experience.
